Welcome to Office 4 VC

Office 4 VC (O4VC) is an initiative to create an online repository of software tutorials for the visually challenged. Be it Microsoft Office, Skype, iPhone or anything at all, our aim is to create, collect and make available informative and empowering tutorials. These tutorials will not only explain the features and utilities of each software, but also explain how can one work on it using screen readers, magnifiers and other assistive technology.

As a start, we will be focusing on creating tutorials for Microsoft Office Excel. While, we are currently creating textual tutorials, we aspire to develop audio and video (for low vision) tutorials in near future. We will be primarily using JAWS and Magic softwares from Freedom Scientific to create these tutorials. In future, we will also try to create tutorials using other softwares like NVDA and voiceover.
